ONTD Original: Favorite tv scenes

It all started because this tweet, where people were quoting about their favorite tv scenes so i started to remember my favorite ones and decided to make this post. There will be spoilers of several tv shows so be careful, i warned you:

The scene from the original series finale of Scrubs where JD is leaving Sacred Heart and sees all of the people and patients he interacted with in his time there. And how it transitions to the Book of Love part of the scene! Tears every time.

Other than that I love the Gilmore Girls scene where Emily, Richard, Rory, and Lorelai have a massive fight that goes on and on through Friday night dinner. I love it.

Some new favorites from Derry Girls fit my list. Particularly the Rock the Boat scene from season 2, and the scene at the end of the prom episode.

Special mentions to the final scene of Barry season 2, Kristen Wiig’s goodbye dance when she left SNL, Bill Hader’s last Stefon as a cast member on SNL, and basically the last ten minutes of the first season of Friday Night Lights

omg yes at scrubs and book of love!! seeing them all together with their kids still as friends! i think its as near to perfect as an ending that a sitcom can get

I just did a Scrubs rewatch and I cried so hard at that scene in the first finale. It really closed off JD and the entire Scrubs's family perfectly. Fuck that fake season 9.

Re: Derry girls- I like the part where they end up setting a living room on fire in like 5 secs.
It reminded me of that episode of community when Troy goes to get the pizza and by the time he's back everything's gone to hell.

Another funny one is when they rip the head off of the statue that was inside the nun's office.

Also, the scene in Barry S2 finale where it tracks Barry and Sally from the dressing room to the wings to on the stage doing that scene, I've watched it a million times and it still gets me so good

I love that scene too, my favorite part is when he faces the camera and its dark but he’s bathed in that red light and the stage lights come on and you can see the audience in the background:

I just rewatched the Scrubs final moments yesterday! That's gotta be one of the best finales of all time.
