I watched all of The Americans during Quarantine because ya''ll wouldn't stop going on about it. I do remember this scene clearly and being so happy she finally got this out. Too bad, like with everything on that show, they didn't sit in the moment.

I'll pick any scene from BtVS to be honest, but this one is one of my absolute favorites.

I hate Willow's "and that all worked out okay" like that wasn't still traumatizing for Buffy to go through

Buffy was really too nice to her friends. I loathe Xander and Willow so much.

I still can't forgive them (including Giles and Dawn) for kicking her out of her own house.

That’s interesting. I’ve always hated Xander’s character. This scene shows Willow poorly, but to a larger extent, what’s the case against her (I personally don’t count the second half of season 6 against her as harshly as others since I think she was overcome by the magicks). Actually, now that I think of it: her behavior in the first half of season 6 was a problem. Anything else besides that season? lol

There was the time in season five when she complained to Tara that it wasn't fair that she didn't get to weigh in on Dawn's education because she wasn't in the dead mom's club like Buffy or Tara.

There's all the times she used or tried to use magic to control the people around her. She tried to do a de-lusting spell in Lover's Walk, tried to do a spell against Veruca, tried to do a spell against Oz, erased Tara's memory after Tara went through the trauma with Glory, had sex with Tara right after the spell which is rape probably, erased everyone's memory while trying to "fix" Tara and Buffy etc.

She has a long history of being selfish and self-centered at the expense of people around her because she is driven to have control and wants to look/feel cool and gets her sense of self from her romances and witchcraft.

her and tara living in Buffy's house rent and bill free and then placing all that responsibility on newly resurrected Buffy.

Honestly, I could go for a list just Buffy scenes tbh. In no particular order:
- Last scene of “Once More With Feeling” between Buffy and Spike
- Final fight scene between Angelus and Buffy through the portal
- Buffy and Dawn on the bridge at the end of season 5
- Anya’s speech during “The Body”

If I get bored, I'll do this.

Send your recs in now, peeps. Otherwise it's just gonna be Buffy because I only love her.
