I remember someone saying Britney was like a phantom or a ghost.
Apparently she would come in silently, go in the booth, do her work rapidly, and then just disappear and no one would know. But even then, they would have what they needed.
I think (I'll have to look for it to confirm) I remember reading back in the beginning of her career, she heard how expensive studio hours are, and wanted to get in and out. I know labels typically pay for the studio fees and such (or the funding from the contract pays for it? idk) but still, I love that she's always been relatively budget-conscious and still shops at Walmart/Target and the article in People Weekly where she was saying $20 a week for her sons was too much. Hahahaha
I just live for her.
<3 Also, Blackout is such a bittersweet period for me to remember. I remember being so into it, and her shedding the good girl/sweet image and just letting the naughty side out (get naked/freakshow/etc.) but I also remember being legit terrified that she was going to end up in the news for the last time because of something tragic. Truly scary times for Britney stans. (I realize that got dark/dramatic really quick, but I'm a gay boy who basically worships Britney since age 10, so...)
