I’m pretty sure he dies in the beginning, when his casting was announced they said it was for a small cameo.

I feel like they said he dies right away so I don't get why he is visually set up here as the central character. Like, my eye immediately went to him, then King Shark then...whatever the fuck is beside Pete.
