OK I've been ignoring this for the past week because I didn't want to learn about yet another youth thing but I am intrigued now, WTF ARE YOU, AMONG US?!
I've only seen it on Twitch first and it looked like the best fun.
Then I went to the dedicated reddit where people talked about playing in public lobbies with randos and using chat, not voice. Basically it sounds like a nightmare. Hackers, people who only want to play as impostors, people with half a brain, people who won't use the common language for the lobby etc...
This game is pretty fun with friends. I would never want to play in a public lobby though. I already don't like playing with teens as they cheat or just don't seem to understand the rules or stealth.
I would be annoyed playing with cheaters yet when I see videos of people stacking on top of each other so the imposter can't see multiple people in the room when they go in for the kill I crack up
I always miss the ONTD ones so I play public and it’s so hard to find a group that’s cool. the ppl who cheat are so annoying. had this guy get my partner voted off before anybody even died and then accuse me of venting when I absolutely hadn’t. it was super obv he was cheating and bc of it the game’s over in like 2 rounds - how is that fun?? had another one where I actually managed to kill someone without getting caught and this loser calls a meeting to announce her sister told her that I killed her. Again tf??
