- Hasbro has named Jonathan Entwistle (Creator of Netflix's 'The End Of The F***ing World' & 'I Am Not Okay With This') as showrunner for the entire "Power Rangers" universe.
- The move means that the film currently in development will also tie in with the tv show (Think of it like Star Wars and The Mandalorian or The Avengers and Wandavision).
- The show has acknowledged there's a Power Rangers multiverse with many special episodes around it. The most recent one had Jason travel trough the Morphin Grid with the Mighty Morphin, Dino Thunder and Dino Charge to help the Beast Morphers team.
- No word yet if this means the show will stop adapting the original super sentai footage.
- A few months ago a script leak revealed the film would take a new crop of rangers (which includes the first female ranger and openly gay ranger) into 1990's Angel Grove, where they meet the original Power Rangers from 1993.
