Sony has finally revealed what the new PlayStation 5 user interface will look like.
Games and Media will now live in seperate tabs. Each game on the menu, once highlighed, will take up the screen with its game hub that includes launching the game, news, and clips. There will be an entire tab called "Control Center" that offers news from Sony, who is online, games that are trending, etc.
A key part of the interface is "cards": a feed for games that show off achievements, screenshots, and overviews of game levels. These overviews tell you how much of each level has been completed, what objectives remain, and how long it will take to complete the level. Some games will even offer help videos that show off tips on how to complete objectives.
Players can also now share their screen with other party members.

Sony also revealed your favorite new video game character: Spider-Cat!
A side-quest in the game has Miles stop the robbers of a bodega, which included stealing the cat! Completing the mission and bringing the cat back unlocks a new suit for Miles to wear, one where the cat rides along in a backbag with its own spider mask. To make matters even better, the cat joins in on the fight and helps Miles with his finishing moves. Iconic.
Both the console and game will be released November 12.
