https://instagram.com/p/CGXPv-DlOM0 Timothée Chalamet covers the November issue of GQ. He originally had two new movies scheduled for release this year - The French Dispatch and Dune, which was set to come out in December and this interview was probably supposed to be promoting, but both have been postponed due to COVID. October 15, 2020 Profile excepts:
- Rented a cabin in Woodstock, NY over the summer to relax and do some prep for his upcoming Bob Dylan movie; filming on that doesn't have a date yet.
- Denis Villeneuve says that Chalamet was his "first and only choice" for Dune's Paul Atreides. Chalamet had previously read for Villeneuve's Prisoners, but wasn't physically right for the part. (OP note: I'm guessing for Paul Dano's part?!?)
- Was embarassed by the photos of him and Lily-Rose Depp on the yacht post Venice 2019: “I went to bed that night thinking that was one of the best days of my life. I was on this boat all day with someone I really loved, and closing my eyes, I was like, indisputably, ‘That was great.’ And then waking up to all these pictures, and feeling embarrassed, and looking like a real nob? All pale? And then people are like: This is a P.R. stunt. A P.R. stunt?! Do you think I'd want to look like that in front of all of you?!”
