They are, but let's be real -- people love to act like the "other woman" is a temptress and a whore who's led the main astray. At the end of the day, James didn't stand in a church and promise to stay with this woman til she died. That's on West, and West alone.

IDK if anyone is trying to excuse Lily's role in this affair, but assigning equal blame to the cheater and the person they're cheating with also seems slightly misguided. Until we know she came onto him and he decided to cheat as a result, I think we can assume that he probably lied to her about the state of his marriage. Anyone who is going to cheat on their partner so flagrantly is a liar. I'm not saying she's blameless, I'm saying we live in a society where people are primed to believe a man's word over a woman's word. From all of the accounts I have read from women who admitted they were the other women, they generally went along with it after the cheater convinced them it wasn't even cheating because their marriage was over.
