What? Fucking January? It’s so not a January show it has a dark and misty aesthetic would fit October or November much better
But I’ll take it (finally)

Starting to think Matthew is a vampire irl because he’s aging so much better than all his English counterparts
So so fine

Originally it was due out in September/October and then I think Sky realized at the last second that they hadn't filmed anything for months and would have no new material for 2021 if they didn't space some stuff out.

Whatever, I'll take it. The difference between 2 years and 2 years 4 months is negligible at this point.

Matthew Goode stays young by minding his own business and being a dorky golf dad.

I mean I’m glad it’s finally here I was starting to think we’ll never get a second season and the trailer maker it look even more exciting than the first one I’m just saying that January as a month doesn’t fit the show’s aesthetic but yes I’m aware that’s like a minor problem in this long journey of actually getting here

He looks so good in that ridiculous costume! And the scruff!!

No, I agree. Part of the book takes place around that time period so maybe that's how they justify it? Whereas the first season was very fall-centric.

But whatever. It is what it is.

And yeah, they definitely knew that they were pandering to thirsty Matthew Goode fans and spared us all the puffy shorts and ruffs in favor of basically a leather daddy look. I'm not mad.

It is not often that a show positively surprises me in that regard but my god did they deliver. It’s exactly that.
As a thirsty Matthew Goode fan I gladly accept this pandering and fan service!

I was very worried. My only criticism is his Peaky Blinders haircut but I can get over it. It seems like his hair is always a problem because the tootsie roll from Season 1 still kills me.

Oh my god it was distracting
Were we supposed to think a vampire put curlers in his hair every night?

I didn’t get a good look of his new haircut in the trailer because it was fairly dark. Are there any stills? I can’t imagine it can be more ridiculous

My favorite is how they had his hair all mussed for the episode where he gets out of bed and has to immediately go looking for her, thus basically confirming he meticulously styles his hair normally?

tumblr has a few shots. this one kind of shows it?

He looks surprisingly hotter. I think the main thing is that the stubble gives the illusion of a jaw.
