yes it was bizarre - I wonder if they did it because the age of consent is 16 in France so they thought it would be no big deal but I was 🤮

I think they were going for something about different cultural attitudes to age and sex, but completely botched it. Like, even in countries where the age of consent is 16 a mid-twenty something running after a 17 year old is not considered a-okay
