I watched one ep of this show and was so confused as to who it was for. Who is the audience? It seems too childish for adults but yet not for young people either. Emily is an idiot which I think is supposed to be funny but doesn't land. And she's not likable.

I checked out their Instagram account and it’s mainly midwestern moms who genuinely think if they went to Paris they would have the exact same experience

I think its an MTV production (Idk why they made it in association with Netflix though) so I guess teens/young adults?

Ia though - I wish it had been edgier. Some of the social media stuff was very cringey and teen-like.

It's in that cutesy genre of YA (non-teen) WB and Freeform shows, like The Bold Type, Hart of Dixie, Emily Owens MD - stuff that Sex and the City and Gilmore Girls birthed.

same people who are obsessed with sex and the city and think it is, or ever was, a realistic portrayal of NYC

I tried watching this and I couldn't finish 2/3rds into the movie....its still on my continue to watch list lol.

I feel like this movie is too far fetched for me....I've never been to Paris but I do know that it isn't portrayed into some Mickey Mouse plotline.
