the women aren't as bas about it as white gay men are.

they straight up seek out their clones. It's peak narcissistic behavior.

as a white gay woman who is constantly asked if I'm my partner's twin (we both have short brown hair and are white. that's it. totally different face and body types.) I have no idea. I just ended up with the first person who expressed any positive affection for me.

lmaoooo tbh based on experience just calling is lesbianism!

though I def know of some first lesbian loves that were less than healthy. So it goes.

haha fair enough, it resonated with me bc for so many years my only criteria in any category was "not repulsed by me" lmao

lol I feel you. It took me 28 years to find someone who actually LIKED me, let alone wanted to date me. I already knew I was gay before that so that thinned out the playing field quite a bit but I don't think being straight or otherwise open to dating men would have made it better. (Probably would have felt worst tbh!)

honestly I think straight couples do the same but because they're different genders/conforming to different gender norms, it's not as obvious at first glance but they absolutely do start looking like each other lmao
