i had no idea the animated series was based off the movie, so until i watched it, i just assumed the animated series came first and now, i keep wondering why tf they made that movie for CHILDREN

I remember reading a story about how he visited the Stanley Hotel and he stayed in the ~haunted~ room and like 2 hours later he ran out and demanded to change hotels but wouldn't talk about what he experienced. Could be just a made up story but I always think of that story. He seems like he has some demons.
