I just rewatched The Hills and am finishing up season 2 of Laguna Beach rn. my most recent take away after subjecting myself to all of this again is that Lo really was the worst. such a snotty shit-stirrer.

That genre of realty tv peaked with season 2 of Laguna beach, I loved it so much when I was a teen lol

I didn't see Laguna Beach until well into The Hills because it didn't air in Canada until after Hills + the MTV Canada aftershow took off, so I didn't have the immediate connection to it but it's still pretty nostalgic for me because I graduated around the same time so everything feels really familiar still.

season 2 really is the best though, the dramaaa

Tell me about it! I had no clue who Kristin Cavallari was when she showed up on the cover of Seventeen. I feel like I've seen bits and pieces of Laguna Beach over the years, but never the full thing. It wasn't til MTV Canada had The Hills that I really took note.

it's all on Crave, if you have that. LB is worth a watch even if just for the time warp back to 2004-2005.

I'm hoping they add The City at some point because that's the one I really want to rewatch
