Trick-or-Treating may be cancelled in cities across the US, but the pandemic can't stop candy manufacturers from desperately trying to cram one more salty sweet treat into America's already bloated snack hole! Get ready to sample a dozen of this year's delicious Halloween (and fall) gimmicks:

#1 Kit Kat Witch's Brew
Instead of being coated in milk chocolate, the crispy wafer is coated in pale green marshmallow-flavored creme.

#2 M&M'S Milk Chocolate Popcorn
This chocolate candy with a crispy rice center recreates that movie theater experience of mixing popcorn and chocolate.

#3 Hershey's Vampire Kisses
Chocolate kisses filled with strawberry-flavored creme.

#4 Reese's Franken Cups
Basically a regular Reese's peanut butter cup that's half green

#5 Brach's Turkey Dinner Candy Corn
A sweet and savory mix of flavors including green beans, roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, ginger glazed carrot, sweet potato pie & stuffing

#6 Brach's Sour Haunted Tropics Candy Corn
A blend of six tropical flavors: watermelon, pineapple, banana, kiwi, mango, and tropical punch

#7 Nestle Toll House Hocus Pocus Cookie Dough
Oatmeal peanut butter cookie dough with chocolate chips & imitation M&Ms

#8 Keebler Fudge Stripes Maple Creme cookies
Shortbread cookies striped with creamy, maple-flavored fudge

#9 Cookie Pop Oreo Halloween Popcorn
Popcorn with crumbly Oreo cookie pieces and orange creme drizzle

#10 Baileys Apple Pie
A liqueur which blends the flavors of freshly baked apple pie and vanilla ice cream, along with hints of cinnamon and spice.

#11 Trader Joe's Pumpkin Empanadas
Delicately spiced pumpkin filling in a traditional flaky pastry

#12 Mountain Dew VooDew2
Returning this year with a new mystery flavor

And on a sadder (?) note, Just Born Quality Confections has announced that they won’t be producing Peeps for this holiday season due to limited production because of the pandemic. “This situation resulted in us having to make the difficult decision to forego production of our seasonal candies for Halloween, Christmas and Valentine’s Day in order to focus on meeting the expected overwhelming demand for Peeps for next Easter season, as well as our everyday candies,” the company said.
