I hadn't looked at the tracklist and wasn't expecting Carrie's 5-year-old son to come out and sing on one track. Not bad for a small child tbh.

Anyone doing Record Store Day tomorrow?

I normally can’t with kids singing on songs, but that one with her son was cute.

Lol no I get burned every year/day out of the only thing I want and it makes me SO MAD so I just took me self out of the whole game and am much happier for it.

Many blessings to you, though. I hope you have better luck that I did

Lol ikr, I want the Britney B-sides and remixes one but I'm not going to be able to get out until 9am or so as they won't let kids into the store because of Covid restrictions so I need to wait for my husband to get up and it's most likely going to be sold out as people always queue up outside from like 10pm the night before! And no way am I buying it from resellers for like 4x the price. I'm going to give it a shot anyway but expect disappointment lol

Edit: lol sorry this is such a rambling comment!

I've done RSD every year since it began but not this year. Covid freaks me out too much to go to a busy record store! I went to my local one a few weeks ago to buy some stuff and support them because I don't want them to close and there were SO many people in there, I only stayed maybe 15 minutes (but still managed to spend $100 doh)

Oh no! That's probably sensible but still sad. Will they be putting any leftover stock online after they've closed for the day?

I know some stores are doing appointment slots and mine is doing a ticketing system where you wait in line for a number and then they call you in later. It seems nuts that some stores are just letting loads of people in at once.

You might want to check to see if your shop has any special RSD protocols.

I went to last month’s drop and my store made everyone line up 6 feet apart outside (masks required) and bring a list. They brought out your requests. No one was allowed in the store until 12 when the RSD lists were done being fulfilled.

It was done very well, imo. I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all and I get anxiety going to grocery stores.

There’s nothing I want on this one but I went to last month’s. I’m not even sure if there’s anything I want in October either.
