Gotta start with Sarah out of respect. In the late 90s she founded the emblematic Lilith Fair, which championed female artists from all around the world, after being frustrated that music festivals wouldn't schedule two female artists in a row.

I absolutely loved seeing Chantel in person. Her voice is incredible and she was so sweet afterwards backstage. She’s coming near me soon and I’m tempted to go but with covid, idk if I want to buy tickets.

The Instagrams lives she did every day during lockdown were the best.

I'm loving these CanCon posts on ONTD!

Apparently Jann Arden has her own show? Which I only found out about from this tweet:

You need to watch the new season of @jannarden 's show Jann.

The fight scene between her and @SarahMcLachlan ...

My dad said was really rude when he met her. He and my brother were waiting to get into an elevator somewhere and she was there. My dad said hi and stepped aside to let her go in first. She huffily declined and made a big show of not getting in at the same time. She was with her entourage, which was small; only three or four people, so it came across as a Famous Person thing, not a safety thing.

My sister and I were both obsessed with bif naked too. I remember her being in a Moist music video - I was obsessed with her after that. The internet was still early back then and it took forever to figure out who she was lol.

you should read her memoir! and she's been on a few episodes of the Toronto Mike'd podcast (which is a fun podcast for throwback Toronto media personalities in general)

I used to see Bif around town a bit here and she came into a boutique I used to work at a few times too. she was really sweet and soft-spoken, and I'll always have a bit of a soft spot for her.

I love Bif. I regret not catching her show at the Westdale a few months ago.
