Did any of yall go to school with ppl that got pregnant or got someone at the school pregnant?

Did they successfully hide th epregnancy bc they didnt show?

Were they ostracized? I've rarely heard of cases where teen moms are supported by their school. maybe a teacher here or there...

I think we had about 6? girls get pregnant in my year, although 2 were just as school was finishing so it didn't affect their studies in that sense much.

One I think was quite popular so was fine socially - not sure about how the school supported her. One dropped out I think (maybe went to one of those teen mum units/schools?), although she hadn't been at the school that long anyway. One stayed with the dad and waited like 7 years to have another, and then one was def 'the talk of the town' as she'd be out partying most weekends (when we were legal), and went on to have 2 more kids with different partners.

I knew a couple of people who got pregnant at 16/17 in high school. one was a girl in my class, she was pretty popular and well liked and she never hid it. everyone was nice to her about it

Two girls at my school got pregnant. The first one was threatened with expulsion, but she was a senior so they ended up just letting her graduate. The second one left school, but I’m not sure if she left on her own or was expelled. They were for sure ostracized at school, they still had friends, but everyone knew them as the pregnant girls, and you could tell people looked down on them.

The thing I’ll always remember about this show, and it’s spin-offs is Ryan asking Maci “Is Kyle slow?”

I remember being so shocked he asked her that 😂 (especially since a lot of people wanted to know as well)

I always preferred the UK version 'Underage and Pregnant', as I feel like it focused more on how it effected the family and was grittier in that sense. I always wondered how they could afford it on 16 and pregnant (before they kept getting employed by MTV), cos they never discussed their parents income or anything.

Saying that though, it feels as though they have soo many of these shows still now so bringing this back was unecessary.
