September 21, 2020- Microsoft will now own titles created and published by Bethesda Softworks, Bethesda Game Studios, id Software, ZeniMax Online Studios, Arkane, MachineGames, Tango Gameworks, Alpha Dog, and Roundhouse Studios.
- Microsoft IPs now include: The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Wolfenstein, Doom, Dishonored, Quake, and Starfield
- Xbox head Phil Spencer has reportedly said Bethesda games will still appear on non-Xbox consoles on a "case-by-case basis."
- Microsoft will still honour the PS5 exclusivity agreed for Deathloop and Ghostwire: Tokyo.
- Xbox says it "will be adding Bethesda’s [future] iconic franchises to Xbox Game Pass for console and PC."
