- Harry Styles and Lily James have reportedly been cast as leads in a 50s-set queer love story My Policeman, based on a 2012 novel of the same name. Greg Berlanti is producing
- Synopsis: My Policeman is set in the 1950s in Brighton, England, where schoolteacher Marion first catches sight of Tom and becomes instantly smitten with the handsome policeman. Then Tom meets Patrick, a museum curator who opens his eyes to a glamorous, sophisticated new world. Though Tom is drawn to Patrick, it is safer for him, in that day and age, to marry Marion. Thus, the two lovers must share him, until one of them breaks and all three lives are forever changed.
- Harry has been cast as Tom, Lily as Marion, and the third role Patrick has not been cast though, "sources say to expect the 26-year-old actor to be paired with someone a little bit older than him".
