Yep. I actually agree with him on most things. But as soon as he said that, I was like he’s white. But this is why diversity matters. There have been plenty of times where my white friends raved about something, especially comedians or comedy and I’m like what 🤷🏽‍♀️

I don’t understand the appeal of most comedy TV shows that have predominantly white casts; Schitt’s Creek being one of the few exceptions.

I also think that at least in America what white people find funny vs what African Americans find funny can be very different. There’s nothing wrong with that because not everythang is meant for everybody, and it wouldn’t be that big of an issue if these voting bodies were more diverse and weren’t so white.

I don’t know. I can’t speak to how white folks would feel about an Insecure that’s exactly the same but with white people. For starters I don’t think it would work. Because it wouldn’t be the same. Just like VIDA or P-Valley wouldn’t work if you simply swapped out the cast with white folks

Season 3 wasn't good, but The Crown spends so much time on man pain that this person just obviously hasn't seen it.
