Brutally honest Emmy ballot: 'Mandalorian' is nothing without Baby Yoda, John Oliver seemed "rattled" by pandemic, and why 'Succession' is "brilliant" https://t.co/lhsqqbQZ2D pic.twitter.com/j6F3sV3I0p

One Emmy voter tells us their picks and why they chose those nominees:

Best Drama Series

The Crown is a show for girls, Stranger Things first seasons were better, The Mandalorian is nothing without Baby Yoda, The Handmaid's tale reminds them too much of real events.

Despite their love for Jonathan Banks they couldn't get into the 5th season of Better Call Saul.

Killing Eve had its peak and was the best tv show on its first season but right now at its 3rd is a train wreck.

They left Ozark in the middle of season 2 but returned because other people told them to go back and they liked it.

They would have voted for Ozark if Succession wasn't in the competition because the show is brilliantly directed and written and the acting is top notch.

Their pick: Succession (HBO)

Best Comedy Series

The voter Tried with Dead to me but they don't know why people think it's a good show

For them "What we do in the shadows" felt repetitive with the jokes.

Insecure is critically acclaimed but they don't understand Issa Rae's humor.

Curb Your Enthusiasm was good but not to be nominated for an Emmy

Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’s had a weak season

Even if The Kominsky Method doesn't have the greatest writing they enjoy Alan Arkin and Michael Douglas.

Schitt’s Creek made them laugh consistently but for them The Good Place is the best of the bunch and consider it "The Sixth Sense of Comedy Shows"

Their pick: The Good Place (NBC)

Best Limited Series

They disagree with the nomination of Little Fires Everywhere because it had major script and directing issues and felt that Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington were in different shows.

Mrs. America was boring

Unbelievable was a bit repetitive and slow but overall excellent.

Watchmen is the best show of the year , they consider the show timely because the themes it explored (Tulsa, the masks, the cops)

Their pick: Watchmen (HBO)
