Assuming 30M US subs, that would correlate to ~$261 million in revenue for $DIS in less than 2 weeks just in the US

between this being on d+ in several countries, plus theater releases elsewhere and it was more likely than not going to make its budget back.

even if this US number is off, this just shows that people are willing to pay this price to see a movie at home rather than in a theater. hope other studios are paying attention to this and by other studios i mean warner bros.

If these numbers are true, it will defintely break even. The Disney+ money is pure profits for Disney and the already covered the production budget and then some in one week, now they just need to recoup the promotional budget.

Movies are under copyright for nearly a century. 99.9999999% of all all movies end up breaking even.
