Jokes aside that does suck that interviewers can bring that up. Since it was public it becomes ~public property/fair game~ to ask and question about BUT I do think celebs and anyone that happens should be allowed to put on block on that (which I think they can) or better it should be off-limits to interviews.

That said I do agree with people who mentioned that they hope the same people that helped Chris out by burying it with other tweets do the same to women who nudes leaks. I get why the double standards exists cause there is history of women doing it for attention while being coy about it BUT there were systems in place that allowed that type of behavior/concept to continue. Not all actresses were doing this for attention and got screwed over big time/grossly for it.

That said he and the women from the fappening handled this better than I ever would. My nerves would kill me lol.

I think it’s in poor taste to ask anyone about nudes that they have no intentionally made available themselves unless they bring the subject up themselves.

Yeah I agree. It's one thing to post nudes yourself vs un-planned leaks.

I assume his people agreed to the questions ahead of time. This shouldn't have been some hard hitting gotcha interview.

I definitely think Adrienne did cause those pics looked too poised.

There's been a lot of examples of it throughout Hollywood. Kinda different-ish but Jayne Mansfield (Mariska Haritgay's mom) was infamous for "accidental nip-slips" at events but later it was revealed that those were planned mostly for more press and attention. Kim Kardashian has done plenty of times in the past with "oops" pics on her IG.

Some actresses in the past may have had pics ~leaked~ but it could've been planned because it might appealing to getting film roles or other benefits. Which is why people sometimes get skeptical as to whether they are really leaks or was it done intentionally. The attitudes are changing but in the 90s/00s it was always assumed to be planned.

ETA: Forgot to add that since men are not known for this they might get some sympathy~ and less criticism like Chris but people are still lusting more lol. They def get off easier because they never had to go the hurdles and loops women have in the past.

i adore evans, but he received more sympathy for leaking his own nude than actresses like jennifer lawrence did for having their accounts HACKED and their nudes leaked. it's so messed up.

I agree that sexism has a lot to do with it and men are never punished the way women are, but also, culture only just recently started changing where nude leaks started being articulated as a violation. It was just after that huge leak with JLaw and others where the conversation started to turn. Before it had always been, oh they’re so stupid to take nude pics, what did they even expect? And it was normal to share and discuss the pics... Scarlett Johannson was one of the first actresses I remember to say something like, yes I took them and there’s nothing wrong with that and this is a violation of my privacy. I remember how alien that sounded at the time but now, it wouldn’t.

I feel like if and when the JLaw thing happened now, obviously there would still be rampant sexism but the discourse of ‘this is traumatic for the person, don’t share the pictures, etc’, would be much more prevalent,
