NETFLIX PARTY POST - SPECIAL FEATURE PRESENTATION - My Best Friend’s Wedding!
We're having a Netflix Party with the Chrome browser extension Netflix Party, which allows users to share a movie watching experience together....from a safe social distance.

Childhood friends Julianne Potter (Julia Roberts) and Michael O'Neal (Dermot Mulroney) had a deal to marry each other if they were still single by age 28. Now, four days before her 28th birthday, O'Neil announces that he's marrying a gorgeous 20-year-old named Kimberly (Cameron Diaz). Suddenly realizing that she's actually in love with him, Julianne vows to stop the wedding at all costs. However, when she is appointed maid of honor, things get even more complex.
Dear ONTD, so I had thought Twilight was available to watch on Amazon Prime Video with you guys for a Watch Party. What I thought I’d seen as “available with Prime”, when I clicked on it to stream, it actually says “included with your IMDB TV Channel - watch with ads” & is unavailable for stream over their Watch Party feature. UGH
So.....I am so sorry to get everyone’s hopes up last week. I was so looking forward to watching this lovably dumb teen vampire angst movie with you all. You have no idea. Hopefully it’ll be available on Netflix or Amazon Prime one day.
So tonight we’re gonna make a hard pivot away from Amazon Prime back to Netflix to watch the 1997 Rom-Com classic (citation needed?)My Best Friend’s Wedding (which I recently re-listened to the WHM ep for & omg Julia Robert’s character is a sociopath, as well as the main guy).
After setting up, click HERE to join the party!
1) Using Chrome Browser, Click here & click on the "Install Netflix Party" button. Once you are redirected to the Chrome Web Store, click "Add to Chrome" to finish installing Netflix Party.
2) On movie night, the host ONTDer will open a video in Netflix to watch and start playing the video.
3) To create a party, the host will click on the red "NP" icon located next to the address bar. Then click "Start Party" to get the party started, and share the party URL in an ONTD post to invite everyone to join!
4) To join a party click on the party URL, which will redirect to Netflix's website. You must have your own Neflix account log-in. Then click on the "NP" button next to the address bar, and you should automatically join the party.
The host ONTDer will have full control of playback, and all attendees can chat in the sidebar (and select their icon/username, so we can continue practicing our safe internet social distancing we've already been doing here!)
