I was just saying to my friend that early 2000s fashion was just so trashy and raggamuffinish. Like looking back, all the stuff these celebs were wearing could have easily been purchased at Marshall’s. No shade to Marshall’s though.

Rachel Zoe brought California cokehead anorexic styling to the masses. Big mood. Mugshots were the ~*original*~ Instagram.

I agree Lmaooo, so many of the tops in this post looked like something you would buy at wet seal

feel like today's dress over t-shirt and bell bottoms isn't quite right? just add a thin clashing scarf, a baby blue felt hat, clip one shiny piece of foil into your and attempt to throw that tiny purse over your shoulder!

I was shocked that most of these outfits were definitely NOT what you'd wear to a fashion show

00s celeb outfits are mostly shit

But the street style was fantastic tho. I'll always appreciate 2005-09 when the street style blogs had just taken off and the brands weren't yet covering editors and regular showgoers in off-the-runway stuff/they actually just wore their own clothes.

Early Facehunter/Sartorialist/Garance Doré time? I love looking at those pics for inspo even now, when I think of 00s style it's that, not the slinky low-rise/jeans and a "nice top"/slinky everything basic hell that was the early 00s. I mean, this is from May 2006 (not at a show tho):

You’re totally right, this is the era where I fell in love with fashion. I was obsessed with the outfits in the Misshapes and Facehunter party photos.

It's a cute dress, has some colour/pattern going on and isn't super expensive (it was from H&M) or some gifted shit from a brand. Damn right I think it looks good!
