They said they'll release the numbers during their next earnings call in November.

I don't understand why studios think China is going to buy their poorly-filmed diluted Asian-centric films. Crazy Rich Asians underperformed there as well.

China already has enough Asian representation in their own films which are much better made and more cinematic. There is almost no reason for them to want to see their own legends and folklore get butchered by yet another white filmmaker. It's offensive af.

There are already thousands of theaters open in the USA. Basically everywhere except New York and California.

Atlanta even had pride last week!

NY and CA make up about 25 to 30% of the US box office. So maybe 70% of theaters are open, but they're not open in the two biggest movie-going cities, NY and LA.

They are opening drive ins in LA, and both Napa and San Diego have opened theaters. No word in NY, they seem like they're going to stay closed.
