The rally headlined by Smash Mouth last month, where they yelled “We're all here together tonight. f*ck that COVID sh*t”, has proven health officials’ worst fears (and those of anyone with critical thinking skills) to be correct.

A study has found the event may have resulted in hundreds of thousands of new cases of COVID-19.

New @SDSUCHEPS paper by Dhaval Dave @FriedsonAndrew @Drew_McNichols & Joe Sabia ("Contagion Externality of Super-spreader") finds Sturgis Motorcycle Rally was a local & nationwide spreader of COVID-19. Estimated public health cost: ~$12B
