when a guy says a girl is crazy he really means he either made her that way or she felt the need to look through his phone one time

when a girl says a guy is crazy he probably stalked her for a weekend or punched through his drywall after losing a game of cod

Ding ding ding. My ex always referred to me as the crazy one because I went through his phone once. He failed to mention that he was still in a relationship when we hooked up and I wanted to see if he actually broke up with her.

Anyway. His friends are now my friends lol.

Yep I once went on a date with this guy who kept talking so much trash about the mother of his child and it was such a turn off and red flag. Of course the date also ended with him playing his old band's music for me in his car and talking on and on about how they sounded so much better, before they kicked him out and how even strangers come up to him to tell him that 🙄

Generally speaking I'd agree

Except my husband has actual crazy exes and I can confirm because I used to be friends with one of them. One was mentally and physically abusive. The other one had a drinking problem and would punch holes in walls.

In my experience ONTD is super quick to forget abusive women. Even those arrested for domestic violence. And I'm always like hmm knowing what my husband went through..

IA in most cases, however this current guy I'm dating's ex is legitimately manic schzipho. Crazy is a pejorative term, but sometimes it is what it is...

Yep. My partner has an ex that would qualify as "crazy," but he has been constantly diplomatic about how he speaks of her. He has said multiple times that he hates the word "crazy" because that is just a term that people use when they don't want to acknowledge their part in the dissolution of a relationship. His ex is severely mentally ill, and her inability to stabilize led to him being very poorly treated by her. The relationship ended when cops had to break down a door in his house because she locked herself in and wrote a concerning letter.

A lot of our friend group has stories about some of the things his ex did. The general response by people has been, "Holy shit; she's crazy." To which my boyfriend always replies, "She isn't 'crazy,' she's sick."

I know the bar for men is so low it's in Hades, but this definitely gave me good vibes when we were in the early dating stages.

I agree. My ex would call his ex crazy all the time. I wouldn’t even ask about his exes, he’d just bring it up. It didn’t sit well with me and I’d tell him, like what exactly made her crazy? And maybe you were the one that made her that way.

my mom is huge on this. when she's had dating profiles, she'll actually put in her info that if a guy has nothing good to say about an ex, she's not interested because that's a red flag.
