-*Some songs didn't reach number one. Their position is noted
-This is the first video from the original lineup of Destiny's Child. The 16 year old members went all the way to number 3 on the Hot 100 (With Usher and Will Smith occupying the number 2 and 1 spot) The remix with Wyclef John was filmed at the same time.
-The song was number 2 on the hot 100 behind Cher's "Believe". -Fun fact: Whitney Houston was approached to star in "Dreamgirls" in the 80's, but she wanted to sing both Deena and Effie's songs and talks halted. Talks of Lauryn Hill as Deena and Kelly Price as Effie were floated around, but with the failure of"Why do fools fall in love"the vehicle was stalled. 2006 Beyonce played Deena and Jennifer Hudson played Effie. "Dreamgirls" is based on the Supremes and Effie White based on member Florence Ballard. Faith Evans was set to portray Ballard's rise and tragic fall in a film announced in 2010, but the project never went through.
-The song from a group compared of Gerald Levert,Keith sweat, and Johnny Gill peaked at number 3 behind"How Do I Live" and " Candle in the wind 97" Source:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Body_(LSG_song)
