-Missy Elliot has gotten to number 2 twice with"1,2, step" and "Work it". Work it ties with the song"Waiting for a girl like you" for the longest a song stayed at number 2 with 10 weeks. "Lose Yourself" was number one those 10 weeks.

-No Doubt's "Don't Speak was a huge hit that was one of the most played songs on the radio.Unfortunately it was not allowed to enter the Billboard chart because the single was not released commercially which was a rule to be eligible . The song spent 16 weeks on the hot 100 airplay chart, which tracked radio play , and was in the top 5 on the alternative and adult contemporary charts.
