Monster actor, Michael Bailey Smith talks Charmed
-Michael Bailey Smith likely appeared on a tv show you've watched before. The actor has spent his career playing monsters and bad guys in an array of tv shows such as X-Files, Buffy, She Spies, Desperate Housewives, and most notabley Charmed.
-He reoccurred on Charmed playing 4 of the shows most iconic characters over 14 episodes: Grimlock, Belthazor (who was a love interest to Phoebe), Shax (who killed Prue), and the OG Source (in AHBL).
-He talked about working with the Charmed Ones:
Alyssa Milano - Whenever I showed up to the set as Belthazor, Alyssa Milano would always give me a kiss on the cheek and say, “You’re not scary.”
Holly Marie Combs - Holly was really nice too, really down to earth.
Shannen Doherty - I know the rumors about Shannen Doherty, but for me, she was always nice and very professional. I would always see her doing extra work off the set with the stunt people just to make sure her fight scenes looked good. I remember one time when we were preparing for a scene, she got a box of roses from someone. When she opened them, they were dead roses. People can be so cruel.
Rose McGowan - My character Shax killed Shannon off the show and then she was replaced by Rose McGowan. I remember one day when I was Shax, Rose walks up to me and asks me if her outfit made her looked fat. I thought that was pretty funny, that she’s asking that question to the guy that’s trying to kill her.
