Thank you for sharing this. It breaks my heart that she had to be prepared for assault and was then assaulted. And I know a lot of people don't know how to hold other's trauma, but it kinda bother me that the host was like, "this tea is piping hot". Like, this isn't tea. This is a victim trying to push through her story. But I understand things are complicated and who knows what the host's own history is.

if anyone hasn't seen this entire interview, i suggest watching. she calls out the entire neo soul community and basically says they're all sexual abusers. she drops names and talks about specific moments/incidents. obvious trigger warning as the stories she shares are pretty disgusting but i'm glad she listed names so i know who to stop supporting.
