He creeped me out in Red Eye, especially with the raspy American accent he used (def a good move on his part. I thought it definitely added the creepiness factor) that I couldn't really find him attractive. Then I saw him in 28 Days and I saw what people were talking about. I appreciate his face a lot more now

I’m the exact opposite lmaooo he’s at his hottest in Red Eye (and Batman Begins) to me 😂 Those were the same year though so maybe it was just his peak age for me. He’s cute in 28 Days Later but I didn’t really see it until later. He doesn’t do it for me in Peaky Blinders at all. His hair is too doofy. 😭

I can understand that. He looked good in Batman but i think it was mainly the styling they gave him in that movie, especially the suit he wore that really made his eyes pop. He doesn't do it for me in Peaky at all. Plus I just couldn't get into the show. But I can totally admit he's beautiful.

The glasses and shaggy hair do it for me I’m not gonna lie. Batman might actually win because of the glasses, but his chemistry with Rachel McAdams in Red Eye makes me tend to lean toward that. Yes I have problems. 😂

I totally see what you mean about the glasses. I thought that particular style of frames really suited him. I agree about his hair. I really liked how they chose to style it for that movie. Part of the reason I wasn't really into him was because of his hair in Red Eye. It was treading on Beatles bowl cut territory for me. But I agree about the chemistry. Ngl for at least the first 20 mins I thought they were gonna makeout at some point. And I distinctly recall there being some tension and opportunities to do so before he revealed his true intentions. Still a great movie tho. I need to find my copy

I was 20 in 2005 and that shaggy hair was like all the emo-kid rage 😂 I’m not gonna lie I have read Red Eye fanfic lolol. Clearly I’m not the only disturbed one but for real, that airplane bathroom scene, I was like...there is potential for a very different kind of movie here rn

Same! I loved her in Mean Girls and the Hot Chick (one of my all time favorites. Definitely prefer it over Mean Girls) and I thought this movie was a good look at her versatility. And by this point I thought she looked her most stunning in this movie.

I remember looking at a list of Hollywood actors with my mom when I was like, 10, and I said I thought he was handsome. She proceeded to roast me for 20 minutes on finding “serial killer eyes” attractive.

Jokes on her, she watched peaky blinders and called me to gush about the “incredibly talented lead actor”. HE GOTCHA, BITCH. SERIAL KILLER EYES GOT YA.
