HDD: Taylor Swift’s “folklore” album debuts at no. 1 in the US with first week sales of 844K

Taylor Swift scores her seventh no. 1 album (“folklore”) in the US with 844,402 copies (600k pure) sold in the first week. For comparison, Swift’s 2019 album “Lover” sold 867k (679K pure).

Billboard will release the official numbers early next week.
