I just watched The Ashlee Simpson Show and it's honestly just a documentary about vocal cord damage.

It's incredible how she clearly is being pushed along and doesn't have any sweet clue how much things were being handed to her. That said, love the album LOL Bittersweet World is her opus in my books though...

yes, bittersweet world is soooo good. better than her 2nd and im undecided about if its better than the first but i love it

I always remember one of the scenes of her recording (I think "Pieces of Me"?) and she is exhausted and SCREECHING and clearly doing significant damage to her voice (which, frankly, isn't a great voice to start with). I remember flinching even back then.
