The theft is nothing unusual for him, but...

...he used "In the End" in his own advert? An advert about himself? Did his entire team just not hear the lyrics?

The chorus goes:

"I've tried so hard
and got so far
But in the end
It doesn't even matter

I had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesn't even matter..."

And there's also this, for example:

"Wasted it all just to watch you go
I kept everything inside
And even though I tried, it all fell apart"

Like... well, it's certainly accurate (except for the part about trying hard), but it's hardly a victory anthem.

It's always surprising what emotions people connect with songs. I heard the Leonard Cohen version of Hallelujah at both a wedding and a funeral, lyrically it doesn't fit either occasion and is bordering hard on the inappropriate side for a wedding tbh.
