I wish they'd do a show about it but there's a couple of post-ATLA comic books that explain the whole deal with Zuko and Azula's mom!

oh, they had a series of three (or four, not sure, i read them a long time ago) graphic novels that goes into what happened to ursa!

the search is entire plot is zuko + azula finding ursa, and it gives the entire backstory about what happened.

someone put it into audio form ^^^

azula is my favorite tv villain ever i really loved how even though they show (esp in the comic books) her "tragic backstory" it was never made to be seen as an excuse as to why she is the way she is. also her slow (and incredibly believable) descent into paranoia and madness!!! mother of dragons who??

ugh and then [Spoiler (click to open)]giving zuko the credit bc she's not entirely sure she killed him... that and taking over the dai li and taking ba sing se... her mind is so diabolical i loved it

also i saw this tik tok theory about how azula only started getting better manicures after recruiting ty lee and i'm into it lol
