Jim Carrey says Renée Zellweger was the love of his life; also dated Linda Ronstadt

While discussing “Memoirs and Misinformation,” a semi-autobiographical novel co-written by Carrey, Stern brought up Zellweger, saying he was surprised to learn that she had been the love of Carrey’s life. The two dated for a little more than a year while filming the comedy “Me, Myself & Irene.”
“That’s true and she was special to me, very special,” Carrey confirmed. “I think she’s lovely.”
Carrey also talked about singing legend Linda Ronstadt, whom he dated before making it big. Despite the 11 year age difference, he said they had a connection:
“I do appreciate the people that have come through my life for the good that they gave me and that’s why she has a special place in the book because, you know, it may have seemed like some...boy-toy kind of situation to some people looking at it from the outside but she treated me with incredible respect,” Carrey told Stern.
