Javicia Leslie - who is bisexual - is set to play Ryan Wilder, the new Batwoman in CW's show. She'll be the first black Batwoman in a live action/film production. Ryan, a lesbian, is likable, messy, and goofy. She's not anything like the previous Batwoman, Kate Kane, and lives in her van with a plant after spending years as a drug-runner.
