So, my ex is a white American man. We dated like 5 years ago and still texts me every now and then (even though I blocked him from literally everywhere. This last time he sent me a message through Snapchat although I have a new account). Last week he told me he was going to Florida (he lives in Indiana) with this current bf (a black guy). I told him that he shouldn't go as Florida is basically a infection cesspool but ignored me.

I really don't understand the need to be travelling right now. Like, why? Why are people so damn stupid/selfish?

I wrote that we were arguing about BLM and ALM and how he (my ex) should be there for his current bf but I erased it but didn't erase that.

OK. So, my ex sent me a message through snapchat and asked me how I was. I told him that I was doing ok and asked him how he was. He said he was fine, he was dating a guy and sent a pic (which I didnt ask for) and he was going to Florida. I told him that it was great and asked him if he went out to protest (he lives in Indiana, I live in Mexico) as he was dating a black guy. He said he didn't because he was afraid of getting hurt by mobs and that All Lives Matter. We argued about that and after that it was when I said that he shouldn't go to Florida as it is basically a infection cesspool but ignored me.

I erased the part about protesting because it was OF but forgot to delete the part about the new BF as well. I hope it makes sense now.

I feel ya! I just chewed out my (closest) cousin for taking a trip of leisure this week; I told him it was really insensitive of him when he knows I wish I had the luxury of staying home (while getting paid like he is), but I have to go work in a clinic all day wearing layers of PPE for hours on end. I mean, I know I chose my profession, but does he have to post it all up on instagram too?! Maybe I'm jealous, but he's being fucking reckless and it pisses me off. He hasn't responded to me, of course.
