I never believe the ones about super famous people but if it’s a very obscure or niche celebrity I’ll believe it

This. Or the image stans or ~haters~ (idk what to call them but every celeb has ppl who just absolutely hate them and will come up with every reason for it) want them to have. Weird example but after the Hanson drama I fell down a rabbit hole of gossip about them and it’s definitely strange how every fangirl had some “The Wives ™️ are mean and awful!” and every non fandom person who met them said they were chill.

I take them with a grain of salt but sometimes, there's a pattern I can't ignore. Like when absolutely everyone says that James Corden is a dick, there must be some truth in it.

Yep. Also annoying. I'm not friends with half of my class from HS cuz they were dicks. Not everyone has to be nice and somehow be friends with everyone you knew when you were young.
