ONTD Original: Actors Who Were Really Hot That One Time

Jul 01, 2020 15:25

In the same way there are actors who will always be defined by their one iconic role, some average men strike the right combination of lighting, styling, and/or youth and are hotter than they should be for one flash-in-the-pan moment. I'm not necessarily saying they're objectively unattractive otherwise, but these are the only roles of theirs that did it for me when I couldn't be bothered the rest of the time.

Colin Firth
Hot role: Mr. Darcy in Pride & Prejudice

Both of his expressions in this film make me want him to insult my family's status.

Kyle Chandler
Hot role: Coach Taylor on Friday Night Lights

A loyal husband and supportive father? A reliable mentor who practices what he preaches? Sometimes you need something outrageous to get the job done.

Karl Urban
Hot role: Éomer in The Lord of the Rings

There's a je ne sais quoi about the flaxen mane, the masterful riding, and the ultra-broad shoulders in Rohirric armor that can't be replicated in any of his other roles.

Robert Pattinson
Hot role: Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

He was cute and every tween could see it. Unlike some of my youthful missteps, this is a crush I can stand by even in hindsight.

Benedict Cumberbatch
Hot role: Smaug in The Hobbit(s)

I'm not saying I'd fuck a wealth hoarder dragon, but we could do phone stuff long distance.

Anything else.
