i still don't get how she got away with this nonsense. she was never an a-lister that would warrant/explain/excuse this kind of behavior so i'm at loss to know how none of the producers, directors etc ever reprimanded her, while katherine heigl, sean young etc who were far more successful in their field of work, lost their careers over being perceived as being difficult to work with.

I left a comment like this in an earlier post about this, but I think that is the way some people want their set/cast to be. It eliminates any collective bargaining and takes the power from the talent's hands. If they make everyone else feel like they are lucky to have a job, it keeps them quiet and tolerant of way too much shit. They keep Lea happy and the studio and higher ups still come out even more ahead.

that's a great point. i guess the only "right" thing lea did was not pissing off people in power, whereas heigl and young badmouthed writers, directors and showrunners.
