I loved this show. No spoilers because I see someone up the room is just watching but a couple of those Saracen centric episodes were some of the best TV I've seen.

Smash and Matt have so many good episodes. God it's so depressing to look back at it and how the Iraq War and deployment served as a huge backdrop to the story.

The last 3 eps of season 3 is one of my favorite TV arcs of all time. Three amazing episodes back to back to back -- Hard Rain's Gonna Fall, The Giving Tree, and Tomorrow Blues.

Seriously Saracen as a character came across as super genuine, testament I think to some good writing and acting.

The S1 characters i think were well developed. Like I could find them annoying as shit and still like them. I like Julie, I like Smash, Tammy too at times could be annoying, hell Eric was also wrong and annoying too! but still they made them just well rounded.
