June 30, 2020 Johnny Depp's lawsuit with The Sun has taken a sharp turn after the actor violated a UK court order by failing to disclose text messages that showed him ordering his assistants to buy him drugs.
The London court states, "[Depp's] legal team was ordered to hand over all the documents submitted in his US libel case against ex-wife Amber Heard as part of a separate UK lawsuit, against The Sun newspaper."
But Depp instead refused to disclose a series of texts with an assistant, in which he requests MDMA, heroin, cocaine and other narcotics.
“Need more whitey stuff ASAP brotherman … and the e-business!!! Please I’m in a bad bad shape,” he wrote in one message that was included in court documents. “We should have more happy pills!!!?? Can you??? Say NOTHING to NOBODY!!!!”
