I really enjoyed Damon and Damon and Elena in Season 1 and I did want to see them get together, but some of their dialogue. Her saying, you're a murderer, a terrible person, I have to defend you all the time, blah, blah, but I still love you and I'm not gonna apologize and him saying they are toxic together, but they make it work. I mean, some of that dialogue was so bad. lol

he killed her brother during a tantrum, this ship died in 2x01

and he was consistently abusive towards her like HELLO

seriously. after he killed her brother i don't know how she ever even looked at him again.

then she tried to kill my queen, katherine, after she left jeremy for dead for silas to murder. (not only is that ooc for elena from seasons 1-2-prime elena.) but if you're gonna wanna kill the person who "murdered" your brother, then you should've went for damon.

i hate that ship so much, i could rant about it and how it destroyed elena all day.

i stopped watching around like season 4? and then i rewatched some of the earlier episodes and i found stefan and elena to be so great together i'm baffled delena was such a thing.

They were both terrible partners

even on a show of vampires he stood out as one who was pretty into serial killing
and their relationship was so toxic, he'd constantly lash out and MURDER people (her brother, that Aaron (?) kid in S5) to punish her when she turned him down like WTF

still shocked that pairing has fans.
