I wonder if Subway will survive coronavirus. Opening all those franchises on the same street was a bad idea huh.

According to a quick google there are ten thousand more subways than McDonald’s (in the United States) which blows my mind

Subways were giving away franchises like they were Oprah.

isn't subway the biggest fast food franchise in the world? (with the exception of maybe sbux... talking strictly food) OR at least it was a few years ago, I swear.

Yup! I have food allergies allergies and subway is always a safe zone for me when I travel. I roll in like “Heyyyy!! Change your gloves, clean knife, let’s do this!!!”

kfc is not that wide spread in europe. We don't even have it in Finland.

We'd like to be excluded from this KFC narrative.

It is. I think the only thing bigger than Subway is 7-eleven tbh

That's crazy to me because we legit only have one in our city lol (7/11 that is)

7/11s are bigger outside of NA than within it is2g. When I lived in Japan there was one on every block. Also the most Circle Ks I had ever seen in my life haha.

A 7/11 in Japan is amazing lmao. They even have Michelin starred instant noodles.

honestly it's not lol. most japanese conbini fast hot food tastes like warm plastic and the bento is decent for 3-5 dollars but it's not gonna be a daily meal if you don't want your stomach exploding (then again, I'm kinda sensitive to soy.) the really fancy stuff isn't in common locations.

i will say though that 7/11 does have the best selection of health stuff. like masks, first-aid, and condoms lmao. overall Family Mart is my favorite conbini chain in terms of cost vs quality.

exceptions are home fries and "american" dogs (lol they're corn dogs.) If they're cooked right they're pretty good and cost like a dollar for a quick hot snack!

Guess it just depends on where you are. We have so many in my part of Virginia that I've had relatives who visit from out of town comment on it.
