I think it’s obsession. Like the type stans have for certain celebrities. They refuse to see the truth and just keep telling themselves lies.

Yes. I think at this stage her whole identity is bound up with him and so she'll never accept any level of proof. Because accepting what he did would mean losing her entire sense of self and her own reality

Yup. This is why I always courage women to really seek something for themselves. I see so many women call themselves like, wife of a tattoo artist, firefighter, etc It’s really disappointing every time I see that.
